The further developed sugar drum from ten Brink is another milestone in the production of confectionery. The drum is designed in a hygienic design and offers optimal conditions for cleaning and conveying the sugar. The drum can be opened from all sides and is easily accessible during assembly / maintenance. An overflow funnel with a vacuum system serves the sugar drum as a dosage in the process. A special valve is then added to the drum so that the product is evenly wetted from all sides with sugar. A screw fed into the drum feeds the sugar over and over again and forms a sugar curtain at the inlet.
Construction
The frame consists of 4-edged pipe with four feet height-adjustable and drive motor which is frequency-controlled. The cover is rotatable, connected to the base frame by hinges. The drive of the drum is transmitted with the frequency converter through three V-belts. On the inlet side, a baffle plate is installed for the sugar pre-hand. at the delivery end a discharge funnel 6 WL-sheet. The drum consists of an outer jacket with an inner drum which runs conically in the running direction, it consists of perforated sheet metal in the ejection area, approximately 500 mm from the total length. In the interstice is a six-start conveyor screw, which is equipped with blades in the disposal area of the drum, for the sugar back transport. For turning the product, six angle plates are welded onto the inner drum. Above the drum is the buffer dosing funnel on which the vacuum conveyor is mounted.
